Anju Sen is a 22-year-old differently abled girl. She lived in Bodiyana, village of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. She has successfully completed 10th education last year. which was a distant dream for her. She is the 5th children of her family. Due to economic hardships families was not able to send her schools.

But our second chance education called Dausra Mauka helped her to get higher education and got certificate of 10th. Now she is ready to pursue for employment through career counselling and on job trainings. As per the MHRD report on Educational Statistics at a Glance, 2018, the all- India average dropout rate of primary students is 4.13 per cent while it is 4.03 per cent in upper primary and 17.06 per cent in the secondary levels. There are several reasons for drop out which include: Distance to school, poverty, illiteracy among parents, burden of household responsibilities for the girls. One of the reasons for dropout from school education is early marriages, highest being those in Rajasthan. The Dropout rates among students belonging to SC/ST communities is further much higher.
