We are happy to announce our partnership with Dharampal Satyapal Ltd (DS Group) for sustainable improvement in the quality of lives and livelihood of rural community through construction and renovation of water harvesting structures in Dholpur district of Rajasthan.

Construction and Renovation of traditional Water Harvesting Structures
Key objectives of the project
- To conserve the rainwater and reduce the water scarcity problem in selected villages of Sarmathura block of Dholpur District.
- To construct and renovate 13 Water Harvesting/ Recharging Structures in the project villages as per the technical specification to ensure good strength, quality, and stability.
- Training and capacity building of the team and villagers for water management, judicious use of water to generate awareness amongst the villagers.
Target geography of the project
The project will be implemented in selected villages of the Sarmathura block of Dholpur District of Rajasthan. The proposed block is in dark zone as per the central Ground Water Board. The program aims to address the water scarcity in daang regions where drinking water is also a big challenge in hot summers. The project will impact the lives of rural communities along with goat keeping which is one of the most remunerative livelihood sources in the region. The project objectives are aligned with #SDG 1 (No poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), 8 (Decent Work and economic Growth) and 13 (Climate Action).
