Mission Gaurav- Migrant Support Program
We are happy to announce “Mission Gaurav- Migrant Support Programme” that has started in partnership with Tata Trusts, and Centre for Micro Finance (CMF). Mission Gaurav Program will be implemented in 5 blocks (Girwa, Sarada, Mavli, Kurabad and Bhinder) of Udaipur district of Rajasthan. These blocks are high migration provider in Rajasthan. Mission Gaurav program aims to support the migrant and poor community who are severely affected by Covid 19. Under the program we are envision to support them through convergence of government schemes and creating awareness about C19 protocols.
Key Objectives Of The Mission Gaurav- Migrant Support Programme
● Reaching out 15000 migrants and poor household
● Benefitted to 15000 house holds for accessing eligible govt. social security schemes
● Securing food security of 15000 migrant household through accessing National Food Security Act through public distribution system
● Benefiting cash amount of 1500-6000 to each house hold as per eligibility
The project objectives are aligned to the major program of the Central and State governments. The key program being the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Public distribution system, Pensions, scholarship, labor department schemes, agriculture department programs, education, banking and insurance etc. The project aims at partnering with relevant departments of the State Government around these flagship program. Besides this the project aligns to a key CSR program already implemented by Manjari Foundation.
