A fish farming training program was conducted with Fisheries Department, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand to upskill fish farmers on best practices and government schemes in aquaculture.

Manjari Foundation and YES Foundation Launch UJAS to Strengthen Climate-Resilient Livelihoods in Dungarpur

Manjari Foundation is proud to partner with YES Foundation to launch UJAS - Ujjwal Jeevan Aur Samriddhi, a transformative four-year initiative (2026–2030) aimed at improving the lives and livelihoods of over 6,000 farming households in Sagwara Block, Dungarpur District, Rajasthan.

The project will focus on promoting climate-smart agriculture, strengthening natural resource management, enabling women-led enterprises, and enhancing access to livelihood opportunities through convergence with government programs and community institutions. By empowering smallholder farmers and rural women, UJAS seeks to build resilient, self-reliant, and prosperous rural communities.

The initiative contributes directly to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Through innovation, collaboration, and community-led action, UJAS aims to create sustainable pathways for economic growth, climate resilience, and inclusive development across the region.

Together with YES Foundation, we look forward to driving meaningful and lasting change for farming communities in southern Rajasthan.
