Under the AHT Project, Udaipur, quality marigold saplings were provided to farmers to promote floriculture as an additional source of income Successfully completed a 3-day residential training for the 4th batch of Digital Sakhis from Jhabua and Ranapur Blocks An Awareness Program on Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV was conducted at Government Girls Senior Secondary School to educate adolescent girls on personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene and reproductive health.

SAKHIs In Action – A Blood Donation Campaign In Hurda

On 2nd July, a “Blood Donation Camp” was organized in Hurda for the first time in association with Royal Club and Bharat Vikas Parishad by members of Laxshya, Sangarsh camp; Gyandeep Village Organisation under the aegis of Sakhi Udaan Federation. All women’s institutions (SHGs, VOs, and Federations) participated in the camp.

Two women and 49 men donated 51 units of blood to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Through Sakhi, SHG members are taking charge of various issues pertaining to social and village development. By using the SHG platform, these collectives are not only creating awareness among communities but also taking action for awareness, equality, and social justice.
